Inter are reportedly considering a move to bring Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta back to the club at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old has one year remaining on his contract, but is believed to be keen on a return to the club with which he won the treble in 2010.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roberto Mancini is looking to improve the quality of his midfield by bringing in the PSG man as well as Manchester City’s Yaya Toure.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roberto Mancini is looking to improve the quality of his midfield by bringing in the PSG man as well as Manchester City’s Yaya Toure.

The newspaper believes that the club began contact with the player’s representatives some time ago and that the player would willingly embrace a return.

Motta scored 12 goals in his 83 Inter appearances between 2009 and 2012 and has gone on to rack up 111 performances for the French champions, scoring nine times.

The defensive midfielder also brings international experience as he has 23 Azzurri caps, and he has been a regular for PSG this season when not struggling with injury.
