Roma are reportedly irritated at Inter demanding extra fitness tests on top of the usual medical for Leonardo Spinazzola, holding up Matteo Politano’s transfer.
The pair had their medicals this morning and the Giallorossi had hoped to get the straight swap done in time for Politano to play in the Coppa Italia against Parma on Thursday.
However, there are still no signatures, because Inter have requested more fitness tests at their training ground on Thursday morning.

According to Sky Sport Italia, this has irritated Roma, particularly because Inter also tried to change the terms of the deal from a clean exchange to a loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
It’s suggested Antonio Conte specifically requested this extra fitness test and will do so from now on with all new signings before completing the transfers.
Spinazzola has suffered from quite a few injury problems in his career, particularly muscular ones.
However, fitness tests are frankly unusual in a transfer, as usually a medical is enough.
