Inter will be without Danilo D’Ambrosio against Salernitana, as his appeal against a two-match Serie A ban was only partially accepted.
The original suspension was imposed after his red card for a scuffle with Juventus midfielder Leandro Paredes, following the final whistle of the 1-0 Bianconeri victory at San Siro.
He already sat out the first part of the ban in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Fiorentina.
The club was hoping to halve it on appeal, therefore having D’Ambrosio back for Friday against Salernitana.
However, the appeal was only partially successful, in that the €5,000 fine was revoked, but the two-match ban remained intact.
Inter are said to be furious, as Paredes was only given a one-match ban and will therefore return to the field for Juventus this weekend.
