Javier Pastore has cooled reports that he could leave Paris Saint-Germain for Inter during the January transfer window.

The Argentine has been paired with a San Siro switch in a possible swap deal which would see Sneijder head to PSG.

However, after Massimo Moratti rejected the transfer speculation, the South American has now done the same.

“I don’t know how true these rumours are,” the former Palermo midfielder told Sky Sport Italia. “I can say with certainty that nobody has spoken with me.

“I’m happy here and I want to stay so that I can improve along with everyone else.

“It’s certainly pleasing to know that a great club like Inter thought of me, but now is not the right time for me to go back to Italy – even if I will one day.”

Pastore, 23, joined the French outfit in the summer of 2011 after a fee or around €40m was agreed with the Sicilian giants.
