Atalanta are reportedly working hard on on a deal with Inter for Andrea Pinamonti after he agreed personal terms with the Bergamo side.
The 23-year-old Italian forward is destined to leave the Nerazzurri this summer after returning from his loan spell with Empoli, where he scored 13 goals in 36 Serie A appearances. A number of clubs are keen on making a move for Pinamonti but none have agreed a deal with Inter yet.
As reported by TMW, Atalanta were in close contact with Pinamonti this week and they managed to convince the 23-year-old of the move to Bergamo. The Italian striker has now indicated that la Dea are his first choice option.
Inter want around €20m for Pinamonti and Atalanta’s current offer sits at around €16m plus a future resale clause. Sassuolo are also keen on picking up the forward and could offer €20m should they sell Giacomo Raspadori, but the 23-year-old is less convinced about the move to the Neroverdi.
Salernitana was best idea but Andrea decides. 🙂
Atalanta would be the ideal place for Pinamonti to grow. With Gasperini he could shine.
