Inter are confident that Club Brugge winger Tajon Buchanan would be a good option in the summer and they’ve taken another step forward for the Canadian.

The Nerazzurri are looking to find a player who’s quick with the ball at his feet and not afraid of progressing play fast in the wide spaces, something they believe Buchanan is capable of.

Regular media reports have discussed Inter’s delicate financial position in recent months, meaning the club will have to choose carefully where to invest in the summer transfer window.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Inter director Piero Ausilio met with intermediary Gabriele Giuffrida at the Bulgari Hotel in Milan last week, discussing the details of a move for Buchanan. Things went well and the Nerazzurri are now planning their next steps.

The 24-year-old Canadian winger is contracted to Club Brugge until June 2025 and would cost just over €10m, making a deal accessible for Inter, who are hoping to sell Denzel Dumfries for €25-30m at the end of the season.
