Although creative midfielder Kovacic, wingers Schelotto and Kuzmanovic only completed their transfers in the final hours of the transfer window, they are thrown straight in at the deep end.
Coach Andrea Stramaccioni has included all three in his squad for Siena, though Diego Milito, Walter Samuel, Luca Castellazzi and Gaby Mudingayi are still out injured. Esteban Cambiasso joins the absentee list with a sprained ankle.
