Inter have received a suspended one-match partial stadium ban for racist chants aimed at Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

The incidents occurred on Saturday, but due to a technical problem the Disciplinary Commission only made its ruling today.

“The majority of the circa 6,000 spectators seated in the ‘secondo anello verde’ sector of the stadium aimed an insulting and racially discriminatory chant at the Napoli player wearing No 26,” read the statement.

“The majority of the circa 6,000 spectators seated in the ‘secondo anello verde’ sector of the stadium aimed an insulting and racially discriminatory chant at the Napoli player wearing No 26,” read the statement.

“For this reason, Inter have been punished with the order to play one game with the ‘secondo anello verde’ sector empty.

“The execution of this sentence is suspended for one year with the warning that if the same violation occurs during that time, the suspension will be revoked and the sanction added to the new violation.”

Inter have also been fined €15,000 for ‘territorial discrimination’ chants insulting Naples during last night’s 1-0 defeat to Genoa.
