Inter will reportedly turn to Eintracht Frankfurt forward Ante Rebic if they cannot sign Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku is Inter’s first choice to bolster their front line, but a deal is proving hard to come by as United are demanding no less than €85m for the Belgian.

As a result, Gianluca Di Marzio claims the Nerazzurri are wasting no time and have already begun checking out Rebic.

The 25-year-old has scored 22 goals from a variety of attacking positions in his three seasons with Eintracht.

He netted a joint-career best of 10 for the German club in 2018-19.

Any move would also entitle former club Fiorentina to 50 percent of any transfer fee his current team receive.

However, it is warned Atletico Madrid are also looking at the Croat, with Antoine Griezmann set to join Barcelona.

Eintracht, for their part, have already lost significant firepower this summer following Luka Jovic’s move to Real Madrid.
