Inter are set to loan striker Andrea Pinamonti to Empoli, also paying 50 per cent of his salary.

According to various reports, including Nicolò Schira, the deal is practically done between the two clubs.

Pinamonti will move on a one-season loan to Empoli, with Inter shouldering half of his wages during that period.

The 22-year-old centre-forward will be yet another big loan forward for the Tuscans, who already signed Patrick Cutrone from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Pinamonti is a product of the Inter youth academy, experiencing loans at Frosinone and Genoa.

He found the net only once in 10 competitive appearances last season.
