Inter coach Simone Inzaghi would be rewarded with a new contract should his team win the Scudetto this season, reports detail.

The 47-year-old Italian coach has impressed at the Nerazzurri since his arrival in June 2021, guiding them to two Coppa Italia, three Supercoppa Italiana and the Champions League final. This season, the club finally seem on track to win a historic 20th Scudetto, earning them their second star.

Inzaghi has managed to transform Inter into one of the most dangerous teams in European football, even if moments of classic craziness still occur, and his future at the club looks in no doubt, despite having just 18 months left on his current contract.

Page 14 of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Inzaghi’s Inter contract will be automatically extended by a year should the club win the Scudetto this season, but he could also be rewarded with a pay bump to reflect his success.

The Italian coach has overseen 141 matches in charge of the Nerazzurri so far, picking up 93 wins, 24 draws and 24 losses across all competitions.
