It is reported that Manchester United have finally made their first offer for Andre Onana, but at just €40m plus bonuses, it was rejected by Inter, especially with Chelsea and Al-Nassr waiting.

The goalkeeper has been valued at €60m including add-ons, so it is widely believed a deal could be done for €50m guaranteed cash plus another €10m in bonuses.

After weeks of talks, Sportitalia claim the first formal proposal has come in from Manchester United and it is nowhere near what they were expecting.

It is set at €40m plus another €5m in add-ons, so was rejected outright by Inter.

The situation is getting increasingly tense for Manchester United, because Al-Nassr reportedly joined the race for the Cameroon international today, along with interest from Chelsea.

On top of that, Sportitalia also suggest that Inter are ready to set a July 20 deadline to either find a buyer for Onana or keep the goalkeeper, as it would be too difficult then to find a suitable replacement.
