Multiple reports in Italy claim Inter will submit an offer to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea this week following Marcelo Brozovic’s sale to Al-Nassr.

The Croatia international is set to join the Saudi club for €18m and the Nerazzurri are planning to use the income to get Lukaku from Chelsea.

Gazzetta, Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport claim Lukaku will be Inter’s priority after Brozovic’s sale, not Davide Frattesi.

According to Monday’s printed edition of Gazzetta (page 8), Inter are planning to make an offer to sign Lukaku on loan with an option/obligation to buy for €30m. The Serie A giants already spent €9m for the striker’s one-year loan in 2022.

As per Il Corriere dello Sport (page 2), Chelsea will be looking for a bigger sale and could demand up to €50m to sell the Belgium international who is currently training in Sardinia and only wants to join Inter.

According to the Rome-based paper, Chelsea already rejected a €45m bid from Al-Hilal for Lukaku, so the Nerazzurri may need more than €30m to bring Big Rom back to the Stadio Meazza. Corriere dello Sport confirms the opening offer will be a loan with an option or obligation to buy.
