According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bundesliga sides Union Berlin and Wolfsburg are interested in Robin Gosens so Inter are pushing for a sale to finance the purchase of Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo.

The Italian midfielder is Inter’s priority target to bolster Simone Inzaghi’s options in the middle of the park in 2023-24, but Inter need to sell one of their players to finance his acquisition.

According to Gazzetta, Gosens’ departure could bring the money needed by the Nerazzurri.

Wolfsburg and Union Berlin want the Germany international. The latter have qualified for the Champions League and seem particularly interested in the ex-Atalanta star, who is not a regular starter at San Siro.

Inter are looking for a sale in the region of €20m and plan to lower Sassuolo’s €35m asking price for Frattesi by including 22-year-old striker Samuele Mulattieri in the deal.

Inter will also get €5m from the permanent sale of Lorenzo Pirola to Salernitana.
