Ambitious owners Suning Group spent big in the summer, and have made it clear that they believe the club belongs in the Champions League.

According to this morning’s Corriere della Sport, the Beneamata’s owners will go all-in for Conte or Simeone, and are willing to offer a huge salary of €15m per season.

That will also include bonuses linked to results and trophies, as well as the guarantee of investment in the squad.

The Nerazzurri are aware that neither man will be easy to convince, but will wait until Chelsea secure the Premier League title and until after Atletico Madrid’s Champions League second leg with Real Madrid.

Should both men reject their advances, Luciano Spalletti is at the top of the shortlist for Inter, but Leandro Jardim, Paulo Sousa, Cesare Prandelli and Eusebio Di Francesco are also being considered.
