Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that although Inter have taken ‘a few steps forward’, there still is no agreement over the payment of his €12m salary.
Di Marzio goes on to explain the Nerazzurri are not prepared to cover more than €5m and that more talks have been lined up for next week.

Sportitalia, meanwhile, claims the Beneamata are only willing to pay €4m at present, whereas the Red Devils want them to take on an extra €1m.
Failing that, they would like Sanchez to accept a reduction in his earnings.
With that in mind, a deal may not be struck as late as the middle of next week.
