Gazzetta dello Sport writes today that Lavezzi’s agent Alejandro Mazzoni will arrive in Italy today and will meet the San Siro club, although an appointment hasn’t been set yet.

The newspaper believes that the former Napoli forward is seriously considering leaving before his contract expires and says that the French champions have demanded €6m for a January sale.

Gazzetta also points out that Inter’s acceleration towards a deal would have two benefits: Adding a quality player to their squad immediately and avoiding competition that could offer El Pocho higher wages in the summer.
