Inter could tempt Manchester City into selling Stevan Jovetic for Samir Handanovic, while Ezequiel Lavezzi is open to a move.

New Nerazzurri President Erick Thohir confirmed this week that he’s looking to sign a striker in the January transfer window.

As the first new buy of his tenure, the Indonesian magnate is eager to make a big impression on supporters.

Jovetic is a prime target after struggling in his first six months in the Premier League, so the former Fiorentina star would welcome a return to Serie A.

According to Tuttosport, Manchester City would only be tempted into parting with Jovetic in exchange for Inter goalkeeper Handanovic.

They are continuing to have problems with Joe Hart and Handanovic is considered one of the best goalkeepers in Europe right now.

He would also be available for the Champions League, as Inter are not in European competition this season.

The Nerazzurri already have a ready-made replacement for next season, as Italy Under-21 international Francesco Bardi is gaining experience on loan at Livorno.

Another option for Inter is Lavezzi, who could be reunited with his former Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri at San Siro.

“Could I leave Paris Saint-Germain? I don’t know, a player never quite knows about these things,” Pocho told journalists at an Adidas event last night.

“What I can say is that I’ll do everything to change my situation in Paris, because I haven’t given my best and I don’t want to continue like this.

“Inter? These things can happen in football. There is always a possibility in the transfer window, that is entirely normal.”
