Inter confirmed a deal for Yann M’Vila, advanced talks for Gary Medel and warned “there will be a sacrifice.”

Director general Marco Fassone spoke to Sky Sport Italia this evening on a range of transfer stories around the club, starting from Rubin Kazan midfielder M’Vila.

“It was a complicated negotiation process, but we have achieved total agreement with all parties for M’Vila,” he declared.

“Now there are only a few details before we can make the signing official.”

Fassone also confirmed “the situation is evolving” for Chile and Cardiff City defender Medel.

“I hope it can all be finalised soon, even if it might not be that fast. We hope to reach an agreement with Cardiff, as we do like the player.”

Rolando returned to Porto after the end of his loan spell, but is reportedly asking for a contract termination so that he can re-join Inter.

“Piero Ausilio is working on the Rolando situation and we’ll see how it all evolves. Is Stevan Jovetic a target? The transfer market is long, there are many options and I wouldn’t say much about one or the other at this time.”

Fassone was asked about players who could be on their way out, such as Ricky Alvarez, Fredy Guarin and Saphir Taider.

“They are all Inter players and, as long as they remain Inter players, will give their support to the club. Ausilio is very active on that front too and we will have to sacrifice someone to maintain Financial Fair Play.”
