Inter must wait to bid for Sebastian Giovinco as the forward’s contractual situation must first be resolved between Parma and Juventus.

Giovinco’s outstanding season with Parma has led to suggestions that Juventus will buy him outright from the two clubs’ co-ownership agreement.  His complex contract means it will be difficult for Inter to instantly follow up their interest in him.

Andrea D’Amico, Giovinco’s agent, said: “Inter have not contacted us, but there’s an ownership to be resolved.”

Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi echoed those thoughts, saying: “To be fair to Giovinco we must talk to Juventus to resolve our co-ownership.  Inter are following him, but our dream is to keep him.”

It is widely expected that the Italy international, currently in the Euro 2012 squad, will move on this summer.
