Inter will bring back Roger Martinez to Serie A, potentially in place of Gabigol if that deal falls through.

The Nerazzurri are expecting a quick resolution for the signing of the Brazilian prodigy from Santos, but they have plans in place should that option fail.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, they intend to bring back 22-year-old Martinez, who was purchased via the Suning ownership from Racing Avellaneda and turned over to Jiangsu in China.

Martinez has scored seven goals in his first five matches in the Chinese Super League, and if Inter have an open place in their squad for a foreigner, they'll bring him back in the summer.

Even if they do sign Gabigol, they still plan to bring Martinez to Serie A, loaning or selling him to another club.
