De Vrij made an early exit from the 0-0 draw with Fiorentina but, as per Gazzetta dello Sport, tests showed the Dutchman sustained only a ‘slight sprain’ to his knee.
Therefore, while he will miss Inter’s trip to Genoa on Saturday, he should be back to face Serie A rivals Napoli next week.
The 28-year-old has been a virtual ever-present for the Nerazzurri this season, making 40 appearances in all competitions.
