Inter are reportedly considering a swoop for Olympique Lyonnais midfielder and former Roma loanee Clement Grenier in January.

According to Tuttosport, Grenier has emerged as a target for Inter in the event Joao Mario leaves and Ramires does not arrive.

The 26-year-old spent six months on loan at Roma under Spalletti last season but played just six times for the Giallorossi in Serie A.

He is expected to have his Lyon contract terminated in the coming weeks, making the Frenchman a possible free agent.

Inter have also been linked with Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu and Shakhtar Donetsk’s Bernard.
