Inter winger Valentino Lazaro could return to Hertha Berlin on loan in January, despite his wish to “play so well that I can’t be left out.”

Lazaro only joined Inter from Hertha over the summer in a €22m deal, but the Austria right-sider has seen just 41 minutes of action for the Nerazzurri this season.

Although a thigh injury early in his career with the Beneamata has not helped matters, Tuttomercatoweb claims they could loan him back to the Bundesliga club, who in turn are “thinking about” the idea.

In the meantime, the 23-year-old told LaOla1: “I have to show my Coach I can play so well that I can’t be left out.

“Everyone wants to play every game and I’m ambitious too. I'm looking forward to growing and establishing myself.

“Last week we faced Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, which were important steps for my career: I’m still 23, I’ve just started out.

“In Italy there are more tactics. We always stay on the field for a couple of extra hours to study tactical mechanisms.

“In terms of attitude, I prefer to attack and my dream is to be able to say, at 30-35 years of age, that I became the best Lazaro possible.”
