Multiple reports in Italy claim Inter are in talks with Tottenham and Sassuolo for Tanguy Ndombele and Maxime Lopez, hoping to get a last-minute reinforcement in midfield for Simone Inzaghi.
The Nerazzurri have welcomed Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich, just before the deadline day, but their summer transfer window may not be over just yet.
Multiple reports in Italy claim the Nerazzurri have sounded out Tottenham midfielder Ndombele. The ex-Napoli loanee was in talks with Genoa, but according to Gazzetta, he snubbed the Grifone, knowing Inter were also interested.
The Nerazzurri would sign the French midfielder on loan and are not considering a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy.
The other option is Maxime Lopez from Sassuolo. Inter would be open to discussing a swap deal involving Kristjan Asllani in this case.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, only one between Lopez and Ndombele could possibly join Inter, while Gazzetta believes both players could move to the Stadio Meazza provided that the Nerazzurri do not need to spend a penny and sell one between Stefano Sensi and Lucien Agoumé.
