The attacking midfielder came on with 20 minutes to go against Genoa on Monday, but his performance was poor as the Grifone took a shock 2-1 win.

Today it was reported that he and the Coach had a furious bust-up in the dressing room after the match, with the Biancocelesti confirming a “discussion” had taken place, but playing the incident down.

Despite that, Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Anderson could be sold this summer, with the Nerazzurri interested.

The Brazilian would be available for around €20m, the newspaper suggests, and would be an attractive option as he can play anywhere across the front line.

However, Santos would be due 25 per cent of any fee, as part of the deal which took him to Italy in the first place, so Lazio could well demand significantly more.
