Reports say Inter have sent their chief scout to Argentina as their interest in Boca Juniors starlet Rodrigo Bentancur heats up.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Nerazzurri sent Massimiliano Mirabelli to South America for a number of targets, and Bentancur is among them.
The 18-year-old playmaker has been in Inter’s sights for more than a year according to the paper and is valued by Boca at around €10m.
However, due to the Uruguayan’s current knee injury the trip will be an exploratory one for the time being.
