Inter have identified Anderlecht talent Sergio Gomez as a possible option to replace Ivan Perisic in the summer.

The Nerazzurri are still unsure whether or not they want to renew the Croatian wing back’s contract, which is due to expire in the summer, and so they’ve been planning ahead in preparation for a possible departure. A number of players have been scouted and now a new idea is entering the fray.

As reported by Bild, Inter are closely following 21-year-old Anderlecht full back Sergio Gomez, who is impressing under Vincent Kompany this season. A Barcelona youth product, the move to Belgium has helped him make significant steps forward in his career.

Contracted to the Belgian side until 2025, several top European clubs are also keen to pick up the Spanish left back including Manchester United, Chelsea and Olympique Marseille.

Inter are interested but are remaining on the sidelines, waiting to see what the future holds for Perisic, but they’re keeping close tabs on the 21-year-old talent.
