La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Inter could offer Fredy Guarin to Tottenham in exchange for Aaron Lennon.

Roberto Mancini has made absolutely no secret of the fact he wants to bring in more wingers in January to transform the squad left to him by sacked Walter Mazzarri.

Lennon would fit the bill and his lack of playing time at Spurs means he’d be available for around £7m next month.

Hull City and QPR are also interested in the 27-year-old England international who has been at White Hart Lane for nine years.

Inter would provide a more glamorous alternative, the chance to test himself out in Serie A and work with ex-Manchester City boss Mancini.

It is also true that the Nerazzurri have a card up their sleeve to entice Tottenham, who are known to be tracking Colombian midfielder Guarin.

La Gazzetta dello Sport argues today that there could be a straight swap between the two players.

Failing that, Inter have another figure that Spurs are interested in – Uruguayan wing-back Alvaro Pereira, who will return from his loan spell at Sao Paolo in January.
