The Inter fan who was hit by a van before his side’s 1-0 win against Napoli on Wednesday has died from his injuries.
Sport Mediaset reports the incident happened at ‘around 18:30 GMT’, an hour before the game kicked off.
He has since been identified as Daniele Belardinelli, a 35-year-old Inter ultra from Varese.
The website explains he was mowed by a van belonging to Napoli supporters and needed emergency surgery but did not pull through.
