Inter have apparently set their sights on Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric, whose contract is expiring.
The 23-year-old Croatian international has scored two goals in his first three games for the Niko Kovac’s national side, as well as 14 goals in 11 games for Rijeka in the domestic League so far this season
It is form that the Gazzetta dello Sport says has alerted the Nerazzurri to him and has seen them send out scouts to Croatia.
Kramaric’s contract with Rijeka expires in June, but the club have an option to extend the deal for another year.
However, according to the Gazzetta, Inter will look to head off interest from Germany and England, as well as Spanish champions Atletico Madrid, by bringing Kramaric to San Siro in January.
The newspaper believes €3m would be enough to see the player move to Milan, as such a figure would see Rijeka almost quadruple the €800,000 paid to sign Kramaric from Dinamo Zagreb.
Kramaric will almost certainly travel with Croatia to take on Italy at San Siro on November 16, and Gazzetta believes this could be the catalyst for a January move to join up with compatriot Mateo Kovacic in Walter Mazzarri's side.
