Luc Castaignos is set to leave Inter at the end of the season after playing just six times in Serie A this term.

The Dutch striker, 19, was netted from Feyenoord in the summer, but he’s only been given 201 minutes of top-flight action this term.

“Next season will be fundamental for Luc,” agent Arie Treffers told NU Sport. “He wants to play football and he doesn’t have that opportunity at Inter.

“When he joined the Nerazzurri they said that they wanted to rejuvenate the team, but the average age of the side remains over 30.

“I think that a loan move away is most likely or perhaps a big club are ready to sign him on a permanent basis.

“Let’s see how things turn out, but there is a lot of interest in him.”

Castaignos, who has also played in one Coppa Italia tie and the Italian Super Cup Final, has scored one goal for the Italian club so far.
