Inter have announced that they have completed a deal to sign Torino full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio.

For most of the month the two clubs have been in negotiations for the highly-rated defender, on from his decision to not renew his contract in Turin beyond this summer.

On from an agreement being reached this week and the player undergoing a medical on Wednesday, today has seen the Nerazzurri confirm his arrival, on a four-and-a-half-year contract.

“Danilo D'Ambrosio is now an Inter player,” the club have reported in a statement released on their official website.

“The relevant documentation was submitted to the Lega Serie A offices this morning, confirming the defender's move from Torino to the Nerazzurri.

“The Neapolitan, 25, has signed a deal until 30 June 2018.”

Torino detail in their statement on the move that it is an outright sale, whilst they have also picked up Matteo Colombi on loan from Inter, with an option for co-ownership.
