It is reported that Inter are close to signing Santos full-back Moreira Jonathan, who plays the same role as Douglas Maicon.
According to Sky Sport Italia late Friday night, Brazilian sources suggest a deal is in place for the 25-year-old.
Jonathan was one of the stars of the Santos side that recently won the Copa Libertadores. It's believed Inter have agreed to sign him for €5m.
This has raised eyebrows, as Jonathan is a right-back, so would play in the same position as Maicon.

It has been reported numerous times this summer that Maicon is on his way out of San Siro, heading for a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.
