Catalan newspaper Sport believes a deal is very close for Montoya to move on loan to the Beneamata for the next two seasons, with a purchase clause of €8m.

The paper believes Inter will pay €1.5m for the initial loan, with a deal already agreed with the player.
It’s thought a deal will not be confirmed until July 18, with the Blaugrana in the midst of Presidential elections, though the player and Coach Luis Enrique have given their consent to the deal.
Sport believes that Liverpool were also tracking the defender, but he has chosen to move to Serie A.
