The Gazzetta dello Sport reports this morning that the Beneamata are still holding out hope of pulling off an unlikely deal for the latter, but are very close to Allan.

The newspaper reports that the two clubs are on the verge of agreeing a deal for the 24-year-old, which would see the Brazilian move on loan initially, and a transfer fee paid over several years.

That fee is likely to come to between €15m and €18m for the Zebrette man, who would join up with Juan Jesus, with whom he won the Under 20 World Cup in 2011.
