Inter are closer to taking midfielder Saphir Taider from Bologna after negotiations resumed in earnest.

The move had already been in the works several weeks ago, but seemed to stall with the Rossoblu unwilling to sell.

The Nerazzurri are still not matching the €8m price-tag, but the €6m offer is close enough for the difference to be whittled down in talks.

According to the latest reports, Inter have proposed a four-year contract for Taider worth €0.8m per season.

If Bologna were to match that, it would put the 21-year-old among their top earners.

This week the Rossoblu brought back Diego Perez, who had left at the end of his contract last month, signing him to a new two-year deal.

Some have taken this as a sign Bologna are preparing to part with Taider.
