Tuttosport writes today that the San Siro outfit have launched a new bid for the forward after Roberto Mancini voiced concerns about the squad to sporting director Piero Ausilio.

The newspaper believes that the Inter Coach spoke at length to Ausilio about after the 1-1 draw with Carpi and the he is worried about the drop in the team’s performances recently.

However, in order for a deal to go ahead, Fredy Guarin’s move to China would need to be completed.

The Colombian is believed to be in the middle of a bidding war between Jiangsu Suning and Shanghai Shenua but has concerns over contract details.

Should the midfielder depart, Inter could spend cash from the deal on a bid for Eder without breaking Financial Fair Play rules.
