Inter and Manchester City target Tajon Buchanan was not involved in Club Brugge’s 6-1 win over RWDM on Friday so rumours of his possible January exit intensify.

The 24-year-old didn’t even go on the bench on Friday night, and Italian and Belgian media believe Ronny Deila’s decision is strictly linked to an imminent exit of the Canadian winger.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the Club Brugge coach said at a post-match press conference: “I don’t know what’s going on with TJ. This is something I can control. He is still here and this is the most important thing.”

It’s been reported that Buchanan is unwilling to discuss a new deal with his current club. His contract with Club Brugge expires in June 2025.

Inter and Manchester City are interested in the 24-year-old and several sources in Italy claim the player has already given his green light to joining the Nerazzurri in the January transfer window.

The Serie A giants are interested in an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy in June but have not yet reached an agreement with the Belgian side who are prepared to sell Buchanan for at least €12m.
