Inter's new owners Suning have finally authorised a €25m payment for Lazio's Antonio Candreva, say reports.

The Nerazzurri had been linked to the Lazio winger for more than a month now, but nothing came of it as president Claudio Lotito wouldn't discount the player.

The Biscione were willing to offer €18m, as they believed the player's age did not warrant a greater investment, but that was never seen as enough.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, and perhaps as part of an effort to convince Coach Roberto Mancini not to leave the club, the Suning directors have now authorised a €25m payment to bring Candreva to Milan.

A deal between the two clubs could be found as early as today, with the player then coming in for his medicals on Sunday. Candreva will be offered a four-year contract at €2.7m per season.
