Lorenzo Insigne will stay at Napoli over the summer and he’s expected to be given more playing time at the Stadio San Paolo in 2013-14.

The 21-year-old has appeared in 31 League games this term, but the forward has only started 14 of those from the first minute.

“His future is at Napoli,” one of his agents, Fabio Andreotti, told Radio CRC. “He’ll certainly be a protagonist in the championship next season.

“I think that he will be used more than he has this term.”

Insigne, who returned to his parent club last year after loan spells at Foggia and Pescara, is an Under-21 international who was given his first full cap in September.

“Insigne has set himself an objective,” Andreotti continued. “He wants to be a part of the Italy squad at World Cup 2014.”
