As per the newspaper, Insigne’s decision stems from his desire to stay at Napoli for the entirety of his career.

The Neapolitan has two years left on his contract with the Partenopei, and Il Corriere claims an extension cannot be ruled out.

Insigne is also known to have a strong rapport with coach Gennaro Gattuso, which cannot be said for Rino’s predecessor Carlo Ancelotti.

Replacing Raiola could be Vincenzo Pisacane, whose clients include Inter full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio and Napoli loanees Gennaro Tutino and Amato Ciciretti.
