Spirits are high at Benevento after the promotion and forward Roberto Insigne has claimed the Streghe can ‘dream’ of a place in the Europa League.
Crotone ended the Giallorossi’s run of 22 games unbeaten in Serie B and the former Napoli winger revealed that coach Filippo Inzaghi did not react well to the 3-0 defeat at Stadio Ezio Scida.
“In the dressing room at Crotone, he broke the blackboard in anger,” he told Radio Punto Nuovo. “He is one who never gives up and always spur us on to give our best.

“[Napoli coach Gennaro] Gattuso and Inzaghi are very similar characters.”
Insigne and his teammates are ready for Serie A next season, matching Ascoli’s record of securing promotion with seven games remaining.
Now, the Stregoni are planning for next season and the 26-year-old expects the team to take massive strides in the coming seasons.
“[Sporting director Pasquale] Foggia and [President Oreste] Vigorito have shown me a great deal and I hope I have paid them back for the faith through my performances on the pitch.
“If we look at the strength of the club and the environment here, we can even dream of the Europa League.”
His older brother, Lorenzo Insigne, is the captain of Napoli and now Roberto looks forward to facing him next season.
“I spoke to him last night, I wished him to score against Genoa. There’s a great relationship between us, we support each other.
“It’s my dream since my childhood to play with him, maybe it can happen one day. It’s already beautiful that we’re able to challenge each other next year.”
