The Argentine striker was netted for €37m from Real Madrid after Edinson Cavani was sold to Paris Saint-Germain for €64.5m.
“Cavani’s departure is a massive loss for us,” the Swiss international told Tafesanzeiger. “But we respect and accept his decision to leave Napoli.
“Higuain, though, is a top player and I’m very happy with his capture. It shows that the club wants to target important objectives.”
