According to Sky Sport Italia, Immobile has already been won over by the proposal of a five-year contract worth €2m per season.

The striker is currently co-owned by Juventus and Torino, so any transfer would have to be agreed with both clubs.

Sky Sport Italia maintain Torino President Urbano Cairo took Immobile aside after the training session and asked if he really did want to be released for a new career path in Germany.

It’s reported the initial offer is €14m plus another €3m in performance-related bonuses, but the price-tag is thought to be closer to €20m.

Immobile is currently Serie A top scorer with 21 goals for Torino.
