The Lazio striker had hoped this would be his tournament in Russia after being joint Capocannoniere in Serie A, but Italy failed to qualify.
“I am a little too bitter to watch all of it, so I’m following it without much enthusiasm,” Immobile told Mediaset.
“I would really love to be there right now and not on vacation. In any case, I’m cheering on Brazil.”
