Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula has opened the door to Inter. “He’d accept a move to relaunch the club.”

The Nerazzurri had thought their bid was going to fall on deaf ears after reports from the Imbula camp suggested he saw ‘chronic instability’ at San Siro.

However, the tide appears to have turned and his father, Willy Ndangi, gave good news.

“My son could accept a move to Inter in order to relaunch the club,” he told Telefoot.

The proposal is worth €18m, but there is also competition from Valencia and Tottenham.

The 22-year-old joined Olympique Marseille from Guingamp in July 2013.

Imbula played for France at Under-21 level, but also has Belgian and Congolese citizenship.
