In an extensive interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, he began by discussing his mentor at Sampdoria.
“Mihajlovic has improved under many points of view,” he said. “His human side remains the same, he respects you and tells you thing to your face.

In an extensive interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, he began by discussing his mentor at Sampdoria.
“Mihajlovic has improved under many points of view,” he said. “His human side remains the same, he respects you and tells you thing to your face.
“On the pitch he developed a great deal. I mean in terms of how he builds play and his study of our adversaries.
“The concepts he implements are the same, but he enriched his experience.”
The 20-year-old was then asked why he chose not to stick with Roma.
“For a variety of reasons. The club and I preferred to part our ways.
“Coming into Milan was very easy, I thought it would be more complicated. The group here is beautiful, the lads are humble and united.
“[Rodrigo] Ely? He's hardly younger than I am! But he's incredibly strong, he improved even beyond the levels I remembered him at.”
Romagnoli was also asked about the team's upcoming debut against Fiorentina on Sunday.
“I haven't seen the Viola's friendlies, but I know they did well against Chelsea and Barcelona.
“We'll be up in a tough environment.
“The €25m they paid to purchase me are an extra responsibility, but I pay no mind to it.
“I just think about showing what I'm worth. I want to deserve Milan for many years.”
