“It's a huge responsibility for me to wear the captain's armband that belonged to [Javier] Zanetti, but it makes me proud.”
Icardi then touched briefly on the subject of Suning, whose directors have had little time yet to meet the players.
“I am certain that the new business group will work for Inter's best, just like Massimo Moratti and Erick Thohir have done in the past few years.
“Now we are expecting all of the fans to come to Brunico. We already know that they'll be many, and that's important for us. Football isn't the same without the supporters, and we really feel it when they're close to us.”
