Piero Volpi, who today praised the fitness of summer signing Stevan Jovetic, revealed today that the squad is in good shape ahead of this weekend’s showdown.
However, Volpi said that last season’s capocannoniere Icardi is struggling for fitness and that the race is on to get the striker in shape for the match.

"We are expecting an electric week ahead of the derby but the situation of the players is very good,” Volpi told Ansa.
“For now we have one player in doubt, Icardi, but he’s recovering and we will see if we will manage to get him playing."
